Our Chip Repair Process
- The damaged area is thoroughly cleaned with soap and water, then rubbed down with alcohol. This removes grease and provides a better surface to adhere to.
- After the area is thoroughly cleaned and allowed to dry, any raised edges around the chipped area are sanded down.
- A primer or base coat is then applied
- After the primer, paint is applied in several layers, fully drying before each new application.
- The area is then sanded to ensure cohesion before a top coat is applied to seal the chip repair.
